Talking about Habits

Some pople incorrectly use the Present Continuous talk about habits and repeated actions.

• I am playing golf once every two weeks.
• He is always waking up at about 10 a.m.

Instead, the Present Simple should be used.

• Mary goes to the cinema at least twice a month.
